Posi Quiet brake friction incorporates precision-cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims, ensuring a precise fit in the caliper and effectively eliminating noise associated with pad vibration. To further enhance performance, Centric Parts has introduced a scorching process to all Posi Quiet brake pads. This step eliminates impurities from the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads, significantly expediting the break-in process. It’s noteworthy that all Posi Quiet brake pad formulations are asbestos-free and come in three application-specific compounds. Each set includes all the necessary hardware for installation where applicable.
