Turbosmart’s Constant Tension clamps are made to account for the temperature cycling and deformation of hoses, including rubber and silicon hoses. The size of parts like couplers, pipes, and hoses expands and contracts over the engine bay’s heat cycle. The outside “Spring Action Band” of our Constant Tension clamp functions to sustain constant force and load for optimal dependability, including against deformation and “Compression Set.”
