The Hydroshield air filters from Injen Technology are made to improve the performance of any air filter, including our 8-Layer oiled cotton gauze air filters and SuperNano-Web air filters. A hydrophobic water-repellent is applied after a proprietary base medium is used to create Injen’s Hydroshield. Our Hydroshield is puncture resistant, UV resistant can stop pollutants down to.005″, and has elasticity properties that allow it to return to its former shape/position after servicing. Damage-causing particles, which can block your air filter and reduce peak airflow and horsepower production, are diverted by Injen’s Hydroshields. Additionally, Injen’s Hydroshield lengthens the intervals between servicing appointments, cutting expenses and enhancing the user experience all around.
